Hail the Masterless!
If like me when acting as Overplayer you sometimes need a little reminder about things like how do I end a Rogues' Phase or which is the Mystery and which is the Moral, and how do those work, maybe these simple resources I created will help:
A page on my website that just lists the basics (check the link).
And there's a link there to a printable "mini-book" you can make yourself with all the key facts.
Let me know if you find any errors in these, and thanks to Epidiah for such a great game!

Corey Reid Very cool. I like it.
ReplyDeleteThoughts:
. In Perilous Phase, need to mention that Rogue hold the dice until he feels he must roll.
. Love the bullet points for the phases. Wanted bullet points for the stymies, mysteries, and morals, too.
. Is there a reason that mysteries use the phrase "below 4" and morals is the phrase "none above three"? Since they mean the same thing, is generally better to use the same phrase, especially on a quick reference.
Michael Miller Thanks! I updated the Perilous Phase description a bit to maybe make that more process more clear. I found it hard to break down the SMM stuff into little bullets but I'll consider further.
ReplyDeleteI'm struggling to find a phrasing for Morals that matches Mysteries. The condition of no ties and all dice below 4 is hard to express but I tried to make it more align with Mysteries. Open to ideas here.
Thanks for this! I want to try SWM with my group and was planning to make some simple reference cards. That's suddenly become much easier.
