One of the reasons I'm so in love with Swords is the writerly gameplay. Both the Overplayer and the Rogue player act as storytellers - it's like writing genre fiction together. But it doesn't seem to work for everyone.
One of my friends the other night felt uncomfortable at the idea of being both 'inside' and 'outside' her character. The lack of immersion jarred her. Has this happened to any of you? And if so, did you find a way to make it easier on the player?
