Sunday Morning Swords: 30 July 2017

#FireInMyBellyEdition

Good morning!

Here's our organizational thread for #SundayAMSwords. All are welcome regardless of familiarity with the game! Comment below if you're interested in playing this morning and mention if you're comfortable being an Overplayer and whether or not you have play Swords before.

When we get an Overplayer and three or four Rogue Players, those players will run off and start their hangout. For now, let's focus on getting everyone into a group. We'll probably wait until 9:30 EDT to start the last group. If you can't make that, check back in a few hours.Occasionally there are other games firing up later in the day for those who wake at a more civilized time. If you don't see one, feel free to fire on up yourself.

Use the hashtag #SundayAMSwords should you desire to chat about your game on the social medias. And bring your breakfast or brunch. Adventurers need their sustenance! And coffee.

There's 38 minutes in this podcast that will be of keen interest to my fellow rogues!

Season 2.5 is now up! It includes a look at the design development of Epidiah Ravachol, a detailed discussion of the design of Swords Without Master, a seminar led by Michael Duxbury on Acquiring IP Licenses and designing genre in rpgs, Ric & Robert Carnel at the 200 word rpg playfest, and our views on the Best RPGs for Beginners joined by Joanna Piancastelli and a host of British roleplaying luminaries.

(So my recent fatherhood has greatly reduced my playing time and delayed a third season. However, Rob and I have put together this content to serve as an interseasonal to tide us over.)

Thanks to all who allowed us to use their words or work including:

I was messing around in Tabletop Simulator today and made a dedicated Swords without Master tabletop.

I was messing around in Tabletop Simulator today and made a dedicated Swords without Master tabletop. Let me know what you all think.

I think I am one skull short so I am subverting the original rules a bit:)

Rogues!

Rogues! It's another Sunday that I am away. So you'll have to #SundayAMSwords without me. I shall return soon. Perhaps next week or the week after. I'm not sure. I'm a bit groggy at the moment.

Rogues!

Rogues! Rogues! I will be caught up in a family obligation this Sunday and I will not be able to attend #SundayAMSwords. Will you be there in my stead?
